Job Overview

The Clinical Medical Assistant/Clinic LPN provides direct or indirect patient care according to state Nurse Practice Act, including general patient care, assistance with procedures, documentation, and patient education. Care is provided following established principles, ethical standards, policies, and procedures of Deaconess.

This position is supplemental/working as needed. Hours may vary.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or nursing program
• Experience preferred but not required
• Current certification/license (see list below)

• Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants
• Registered Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant - National Health career Association
• National Certified Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant - National Association for Health Professionals
• Registered Medical Assistant - American Allied Health
• Certified Medical Assistant Clinical - American Medical Certification Association

CPR provider certification is required.
