Purchasing Stock Cage Attendant- 2nd Shift

We are looking for a Stock Cage Attendant for 2nd shift in the Purchasing Department at AW Technical Center USA.

• Receive stock cage items
• Check packing slips, noting any discrepancies
• Receive items into Oracle system
• Write stock cage number on item & packing slip if not printed
• Place item in proper storage location. If new item, identify & record location
• Issue stock cage items from stock cage & chemical room
• Greet team members and offer to assist
• Find item requested
• Record item issued on log sheet, record line number & staff r
• Issue item in Oracle
• Conduct daily physical inventory of critical chemicals
• Maintain filing of paperwork
• File and maintain back order information
• Handle telephone communication
• Communicate any issues and problems to MRO Purchasing
• Maintain cleanliness and order in and around the stock cage
• Adhere to all company policies and safety and environmental procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned in order to ensure achievement of section, department, or company plan

• Effective communication (written and verbal) with internal and external contacts
• Basic math skills to confirm numerical information (count per container, dollar figures on purchase orders, etc.)
• Understanding of written communication in the form of company requisitions, supplier memos, or faxes
• Basic computer skills
• Solid organization skills

• A High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Related work experience is preferred
