The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing and serving samples, intercepting consumers, demonstrating products professionally, and maintaining a professional appearance.

• Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
• Set up and prepare event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate through company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination.

Computer

Skills:

Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and handle cleaning supplies.

Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming. Dress code requirements included in training documents.

English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
