Position SummaryThis role leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations utilizing technology business initiatives, merchandising and company direction, introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicating business objectives to teams effectively.
Responsibilities- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates, following One Best Way service model.
- Manage customer service initiatives, resolve customer needs, complaints and issues.
- Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership for a high quality customer experience.
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL statements, manage budgets, forecast, and control expenses.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing their contributions.
- Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities, building accountability and measuring progress.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support mission, values, ethics, and integrity.
- Promote a culture of belonging, respect the individual, and build high‑performing teams.
- Act with integrity, make decisions based on data insights, and support continuous improvement.
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific background check and firearms authorized training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition, current state‑issued certificate of eligibility may be required.
- Attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and/or Bellevue University.
- Certificates in People and Business Leadership.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
$65,000.00 / yr – $80,000.00 / yr
