Position SummarySam’s Club is seeking an engaged and customer‑oriented associate to support member service, stocking, safety, and merchandising across the facility. The role includes supervising associates, coordinating picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
What you’ll do- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting company products and services.
- Assist management with supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines.
- Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organize and maintain the sales floor, complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, disposing of hazardous materials, following steel‑standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
- Ensure maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards are followed across categories.
- Lead and participate in teams, coordinate and execute work assignments, provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved, and model how to adapt to change or new challenges.
- Oversee the picking and staging of club pick‑up orders throughout the day, ensuring products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners, analyzing information from multiple sources, monitoring progress and results, and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating the application of these practices, implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and assisting management in correcting ethical issues.

Additional CompensationPrimarily hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $30.00. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Six months of retail experience and six months of customer service experience.
- Experience leading a team and supervising—hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload of associates.
