Tire Technician

Overview

Tire Technician role at Love's Travel Stops involves working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining clean facilities with friendly staff. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, helping make their travels better. No experience? No problem—we will teach you!

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters and in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 75+ pounds and working in various temperatures.
• Willingness to learn and work with tire-related services and equipment.
• Flexibility to work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
