Position

PRN Speech Therapist

Responsibilities
  • Review available patient information and evaluate its impact on assessment and treatment.
  • Conduct and document a thorough functional assessment using standardized procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and containing achievable functional goals.
  • Revise treatment plans as needed throughout the treatment process.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with federal and state laws and applicable standards, administrative and clinical requirements.
  • Report to work as scheduled.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
  • Master of Science degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
  • Must meet the educational requirements for certification and be in the process of accumulating the supervised experience or meet the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech‑language pathology granted by the American Speech‑Language Hearing Association.
  • Demonstrates competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in Speech Therapy to the patient population served by this facility.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adequate computer skills to complete required job duties and computerized documentation.
  • Demonstrate ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Requires creativity as well as the ability to work independently.
