This is a contractor position. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) assesses, plans, and executes treatment plans specifically designed for individuals with autism. The SLP ensures adequate treatment across basic functional communication programs based on verbal behavior strategies and augmentative and alternative communication devices. You will work to unlock a wonderful new world for children with autism. From helping one child express their first words through an AAC device, to supporting swallowing and to expanding mealtime possibilities to another, each day brings moments to celebrate.

• Master’s degree from accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Must maintain and be a licensed SLP in Indiana.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must provide a full Indiana State Police Criminal Background Check.

• Experience in Early Intervention.
• Job related experience within Pediatric Speech Therapy.
• Training in Sensory Processing Disorders.
• Proficiency with parent coaching.

• Conduct therapeutic strategies for children 15 months to 12 years old.
• Maintain a caseload of patients as determined by availability of SLP and ABS.
• Conduct speech therapy evaluations – at initiation of services and then annually - including highly specialized and standardized assessments - for clients referred to speech therapy and complete required plan of care (POC) documentation.
• Provide direct individual therapy sessions according to individual needs.
• Maintain current daily notes according to documentation policy and state regulations.
• Provide education and support to staff and parents pertaining to questions related to speech therapy and/or diagnostic process.
• Conduct in-service training for staff, parents, and others as necessary and requested.
• Plan and conduct special education programs related to speech therapy for staff and the community upon request.
• Assist with Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) development, if applicable.
• Perform duties at multiple locations, as needed.
• Potential supervision of SLPA.
• SLP contractor role is paid based on billable hours at a rate of $40.00 an hour.
• Support of a Multidisciplinary Team.

• Annual contract reviews.
• Flexible Schedules Monday through Friday (Saturday potential).
• Equipment needed to do job (tablet, laptop, assessments, etc).
• Billing provided by Alphabet Soup ABA.
• Contracting and Credentialing provided by Alphabet Soup ABA.
• Scheduling provided by Alphabet Soup ABA.
