Job Responsibilities

• Charge nurse responsible for the nursing care of patients on your shift.
• Follow the Comprehensive Care Plan for each patient and assist the Unit Manager with thorough and accurate documentation in the patient record when needed.
• Supervise the direct resident care personnel on your shift.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensed nurse in the State of Indiana.
• Passionate about serving others.
• Professional in appearance and behavior.
• Able to work with a dedicated team.
• Successfully complete pre‑employment process and screening.
• Pass the physical examination required for gainful employment within the facility.
• Professional manner and appearance.

Job Knowledge

• Familiarity with nursing policies and procedures.
• Administration of medication, awareness of possible side effects, treatment administration, and knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices.
• Understanding of the physical, psychological, social and medical needs of residents.
• Understanding of the organizational structure and duties of employees under the supervision of the unit manager.
