Location:

Marion, IL

Schedule:

weeks | 36 or 48 hour Guarantee | Day & Night shifts available, with every other weekend and every other holiday expected to work

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in alignment with established protocols

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes

• Could be asked to Float to medical unit & must be comfortable taking medical overflow patients

• Must be strong in Telemetry and Neuro – patient population is neuro and neuro surgical, CVAs, elective/back and neck surgeries, cerebral angiogram and general medical

• Will be asked to interpret basic tele, make neuro assessments, initiate/titrate heparin drips, NG tubes, indwelling drain management, & blood and blood product administration, including blood cultures

• Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Qualifications:

• Active IL State RN license

• Minimum 2 years of Strong Med Surg Tele & Neuro experience Required

• Recent EPIC experience required

• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

• At least 1 Travel assignment completed
