The University of Florida Veterinary Hospital at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) provides Small Animal primary care and urgent care services and Equine sports medicine, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging services.
A Veterinary Technician based in Small Animal services at the UFVH at WEC assists clinicians with routine and urgent examinations, treatments, clinical procedures, and hospitalization nursing care. The position requires a good base knowledge of veterinary medicine and a willingness to learn new things.

Day shifts available. Will require working holidays and weekends.
Health Assessment RequiredPost‑offer health assessment required. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, bend, kneel, pull, push, twist and stand for an extended period of time.
Expected Salary$18‑$25/hr
Preferred- Veterinary Technician I, Small Animal:
High school diploma and two years of veterinary experience or one year of veterinary experience and currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program or graduate of a veterinary technician program. - Veterinary Technician II, Small Animal:
Credentialed veterinary technician and four years of veterinary experience
