Job Description & How to Apply Below
A day in the life
You start with a quick pass through preventative maintenance tasks, verifying sensors and checking panels against schematics. A call from the Roll Mill sends you to trace a control circuit from 24
VDC back to the main panel, where a relay needs replacement. Before lunch, you pull and terminate new control wiring, then wire a motor on a piece of production equipment. In the afternoon, you move to the Melt Shop to troubleshoot a 120V power circuit and perform repairs that get equipment back online—lockout/tagout (LOTO) followed to the letter and electrical codes observed throughout.
