CDL Class A Driver (LTL)

Up to $10,000 bonus for qualified CDL Class A drivers.

The CDL Class A Driver (LTL) is responsible for driving a tractor‑trailer combination or straight truck to deliver and pick up palletized freight and large shipments across the Midwest.

• Monday‑Friday, 7:30 AM start to route completion.
• 10‑15 hours of overtime expected each week; paid at 1½ times regular rate after 40 hours.
• Pay ranges $23.00‑$27.00 per hour based on experience.

• Conduct pre‑trip inspection and complete related forms.
• Deliver palletized freight and pick up shipments on schedule.
• Verify load documentation and ensure accuracy.
• Collect payment, return bill of lading for billing purposes.
• Maintain required DOT certifications and safety policies.
• Wash tractor and equipment daily.
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed.

• Operate a manual transmission and obtain doubles/triples endorsement.
• Strong customer‑service and organizational skills.
• Work independently and make quick decisions.

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A driver’s license with good driving record.

• Pass a DOT physical.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• No limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc.
• Handle freight including hazardous, perishable, alcohol, firearms, ammunition, live animals.
