SeniorEstimator Qualifications
- Construction estimating experience
- Thorough understanding of Blueprint reading including architectural, civil, food service, , structure and MEP.
- Thorough understanding of how to navigate and digest a specification book.
- Microsoft Office with a strong working knowledge of Excel; this position requires a high level of proficiency in Excel.
- Strong ability to qualify subcontractor quotes including subcontractor qualifications and exclusions.
- Comfortable negotiating pricing
- Experience estimating commercial renovation projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with solid decision‑making skills.
- Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong software skills to include MS Office.
- 5 years estimating experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
