Part Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. This EFDA position will work part‑time, 16 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The position is located at the Marion Correctional Institution in Marion, OH. Competitive compensation: $30 per hour, 401(k) plan, and a $400 sign‑on bonus.

• Routine chairside duties: preventive, restorative, extraction, prosthodontic care.
• Placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings.
• Application of fluoride varnish and desensitizing agents.
• Provision of oral hygiene instructions.
• Limited endodontics; no orthodontics or crown & bridge.
• Administrative duties, with training provided.

• At least 1 year of experience and a certificate from an accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• Current CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license (required).
• Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license (required).
