We are seeking a full-time Financial Specialist to be working on site in our Kent location and support Coleman's locations in Portage, Summit, Marion, and Crawford Counties.

Job

duties included for the Financial Specialist:
  • Perform financial interviews with clients to determine financial status and eligibility for assistance
  • Maintain financial files on each client
  • Review monthly client statements
  • Provide client support services in resolving billing/collections issues
  • Process failed claims/failed activities, and more
Minimum Qualifications needed to be a successful Financial Specialist:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with medical insurance companies and client registration
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively as a team, interacting with clients, clinicians, and administrative and support staff
  • Able to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
  • Able to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner
