Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Welder role in Marion, OH. • Perform high-quality welding operations in accordance with AWS D1.1 structural welding standards

• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment (MIG, flux core, and stick welding as required).
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Fit and tack components in preparation for final welds while maintaining tight tolerances.
• Conduct visual inspections and measurements to verify weld quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with fabrication and quality teams to resolve any production or quality issues.
• Report equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or process deviations to supervisors promptly.

• AWS D1.1 Certification – MANDATORY

• Proven experience in MIG and flux core welding (dual shield preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
