Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Marion. Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain press brake machinery with precision and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup and material requirements.
  • Utilize CNC controls to program, adjust, and fine-tune machine settings for optimal output.
  • Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality, using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and solve operational challenges.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Document production processes, material usage, and inspection results as required.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining or fabrication preferred.
  • Proven experience operating press brake machinery, especially with CNC controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work swing shifts, including occasional overtime as needed.
