• Waits on customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, uses suggestive selling, and maintains high-quality customer relations.
• Prepares, handles, stocks, and/or stores all department products.
• Rotates all department product on a first‑in / first‑out basis.
• Sees that all product is stored in proper refrigeration.
• Stocks product within guidelines established by the department manager.
• Follows regular cleaning schedule for equipment and cases.
• Is totally familiar with equipment and operates scales and slicers.
• Is totally familiar with weights and measures standards and the proper use of container and packaging materials.
• Does price changes as requested.
• Operates stock dollies, mixing machine, slicers, ovens, scale, fryers, pricing equipment, and uses knives and case cutters.
• Provides verbal and physical assistance to customers.
• Follows recipes and keeps company recipes confidential.
• Performs freshness check and recondition product.
• Operates hydraulic baler.
• Performs sweeping, mopping, and cleaning functions.
• Operates telephones and intercoms and practices proper telephone etiquette.
• Follows all company policies as outlined in employee handbook.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Lift and stack up to 50 pounds.
• Reach and stock product up to 6 ft. high.
