Children's Home Registered Manager

Registered Manager Solo Childrens Home | Mansfield | £50k-£60k  Bonus We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new solo childrens home near Mansfield. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-quality, therapeutic environment for a child with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) from day one.

Location:

Mansfield Salary: £50,000 £ 60,000  performance-related bonus up to £6,000

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday Friday, 9am-5pm) Why Join Us:

What Were Looking For :
Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience in childrens residential care (EBD/solo care preferred) NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete) Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Childrens Homes legislation, and safeguarding standards Compassionate, resilient, and capable of establishing a positive culture Committed to trauma-informed, therapeutic care

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee Ofsted registration and launch of the home Recruit, develop, and lead a small therapeutic team Provide tailored care for one child with complex needs Ensure compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, and professionals Promote a culture of reflection, stability, and long-term positive outcomes Requirements:
Right to work in the UK Good English communication skills for records and safeguarding Full Enhanced DBS Check
