Cover Supervisor

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Salary Scale: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant school in Market Harborough. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience and support students across a range of subjects.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and adhere to the set work.

• Supervise and manage classes during teacher absences.
• Ensure all students remain on task and follow the lesson plan provided.
• Promote positive behaviour management and address disruptions calmly.
• Provide feedback to the teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to adapt to varying classroom environments and needs.
