We are looking for additional Examination Invigilators to work with the existing team in the effective supervision of all examinations at Meden in a calm, friendly but authoritative manner.

The role may also include acting as a Reader, Scribe and Practical Assistant for students who have qualified for access arrangements because of special educational needs and disabilities, therefore, strong literacy skills are required.

The post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today’s young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours, sometimes at short notice. Previous experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period. Experience of working in a school environment is advantageous but not essential, however, good communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential.

Full induction training and support will be given to the successful applicant.

Applicants should have experience of, or a real interest in working with children, in the 11-16 age range.

The school is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children. All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

The Nova Education Trust is a cross-phase Multi-Academy Trust based in Nottinghamshire. The schools in our portfolio includes both secondary and primaries, working in a range of contexts. Our track record demonstrates our ability to deliver our core goal, achievement for every child.

The closing date for this role is Monday 21st September 2026 at 9am.

The Trust and school are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check in line with DfE requirements.
