Overview:
As a member of the Finance team, this role is responsible for Accounts Payable and Billing. This role will work with the Sales and Operations on a variety of tasks and will get exposure to payroll, invoicing and other accounting activities. Confidentiality & the ability to work with others and deal with them in a positive way with customers is mandatory for this position.
Key Functions:
-Accounts Payable processing and matching, coding of invoices and cheques.
-Accounts Receivable including processing customer invoices.
-Importing invoicing into Quick Base
-Filing and preparing HST & QST returns.
-Bank Deposits, reconciliations and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
-Opening and sorting mail
-Filing as required
-Travel Reservations
-Other projects
Requirements:
- Education:
Relevant post secondary education:
Accounting diploma considered an asset.
-Strong verbal and written English language communication skills are a “must have” for this role.
-2 to 5 years of relevant, recent experience
-Must be detail-oriented, accurate and organized with the ability to multi task.
-Knowledge and experience with MS Office (Excel, Word) is required.
-Experience with Quickbooks is a definite asset.
