Our client is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to manage the accounting department functions. You will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities, while mentoring accounting staff. Your experience in financial reporting and tax planning will enhance department success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department
• Manage and mentor accounting staff effectively
• Ensure timely month-end closing and reporting
• Analyze and prepare financial statements and budgets
• Assist with tax compliance and preparation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ in management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
Lead the accounting team to success while ensuring accurate financial reporting in Markham.
