Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

About the Company

Our client is an investment firm. They are looking for an Accountant to join their team!

• Assist with general ledger maintenance, including journal entries and account reconciliations on Sage Intacct software.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and maintain financial schedules and working papers
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, as needed
• Perform daily cash management and monthly bank account reconciliations
• Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships/co-op experience considered)
• Progress toward a CPA designation (or interest in pursuing) is an asset
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (ASPE/IFRS knowledge is a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft products:
  Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables preferred)
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Quick Books) is an asset

$60,000 - $65,000 / year
