Position: Senior Accountant with Assurance and Tax Focus
Step into the role of Senior Accountant at a dynamic professional services firm, engaging in assurance and tax functions while managing client relationships. This position combines technical accounting responsibilities with client-facing activities.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Accountant will handle various assurance and tax engagements, perfect for professionals with 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience. You'll mentor junior accountants, develop processes, and directly support client needs across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct appropriate audit and review procedures and testing

• Streamline year-end tax return preparations and compilations

• Set up and manage client files effectively

• Address CRA inquiries and support with data collection

• Prepare and review all relevant tax forms and disclosures

Requirements:

• Holds CPA designation or completed CFE

• 2 to 4 years in public accounting roles

• Deep knowledge of GAAP, ASPE, and Canadian tax laws

• Experienced with Caseware, Tax Prep, and Quickbooks software

• Understanding of business and management development principles
