Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing property management and facility services platform operating across Canada. With a predominantly residential portfolio complemented by select commercial assets, the organization supports a diverse client base, including private and government entities.

The company operates in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment where accounting supports day-to-day business functions. As the organization continues to grow, it's strengthening its accounting team and improving its internal processes and systems.

Your New Role
Reporting to a highly regarded Senior Team Leader, the Accounting Administrator will play a key role in supporting the accounting function, with a primary focus on high-volume accounts payable operations. This is a hands‑on position where you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and accurate execution of payment cycles.

In addition to accounts payable responsibilities, you will gain exposure to accounts receivable processes, tenant and vendor communication, and system-related tasks such as setting up new properties within the accounting platform. You will be working in a high-volume environment, processing approximately 250 invoices per week, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.

The organization is currently transitioning systems, providing additional exposure to process improvements and system enhancements.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in property accounting while working closely with an experienced and supportive leadership team.

What Sets You Apart
The ideal candidate will have approximately 2 years of accounting or accounts payable experience, with a strong preference for individuals eager to learn and grow in a structured environment. Experience in property management or real estate is a plus, especially exposure to Yardi or similar accounting systems.

You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, take ownership of your work, and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. While French language skills are considered an asset given the organization’s national footprint, they are not required for success in this role.

Compensation
Our client is offering a base salary in the range of $50,000 to $55,000, with some flexibility for the right candidate. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package and three weeks of vacation.
