Take charge as a Markham Controller, contributing to financial management and reporting in a full-time position. This role centers on accounting accuracy and compliance.
As a permanent employee, you will manage profit/loss statements and develop accounting systems while ensuring the accuracy of financial information and reports. Responsibilities also include examining accounting records and assisting in audits to uphold integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage accurate balance sheets
• Prepare financial statements relevant to departments
• Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies
• Administer accounting systems and recommend improvements
• Conduct internal control procedures and reporting
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software systems
• Organized, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork
• Authorized to work in Canada
