Accounting Manager Food Manufacturing

Advance your expertise as an Accounting Manager with a leading food manufacturing company in Markham. Drive accounting operations and ensure precise financial reporting while enhancing inventory processes.

This hands-on position seeks an experienced accounting leader familiar with manufacturing operations and cost control. You will work directly with the Financial Controller and internal teams to deliver accurate financial outcomes, enforce controls, and manage timely accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with journal entries and oversee payroll administration

• Prepare financial statements per GAAP regulations

• Monitor and analyze inventory, COGS, and finished goods

• Conduct cost reconciliation and WIP analysis

• Supervise and mentor the accounting team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• At least 5 years of accounting experience

• Preferred background in food manufacturing

• Proficient in cost accounting and reporting

• Strong analytical and leadership skills
