Madison Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to report directly to the VP of Accounting. The ideal candidate should possess a CPA designation or be working towards it, alongside over 8 years of accounting experience, focusing on real estate. Responsibilities include managing full-cycle accounting, preparing financial statements, and overseeing accounts payable/receivable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for multiple projects

• Manage full-cycle accounting tasks efficiently

• Assist with year-end audits and external reporting

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions

• Prepare GST/HST filings and corporate tax papers

Requirements:

• CPA designation or in progress

• 8+ years in accounting, ideally in real estate

• Proficient in accounting software and Excel

• Solid analytical and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
