Reporting and Analysis Lead

About the Opportunity

Lead and support a small accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial processes.

• Monitor month-end close and escalate delays or issues.
• Review and post accounting entries, reconciliations, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transfers, including complex accounts.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial reports, audit schedules, and ad hoc analyses.
• Coordinate external audits, respond to auditor requests, and review required documentation.
• Analyze and resolve financial system discrepancies and reporting issues.
• Maintain accounting templates, procedures, controls, and process improvements.
• Support staff and volunteers with finance-related inquiries and guidance.
• Collaborate with departments and external IT partners to ensure effective financial processes and system accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, including equity, inclusivity, and customer service standards.
• Provide ongoing administrative support and complete additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum 4 years of finance experience, specifically reporting, assisting with budgets and audits.
• Must have some experience with leading/supervising a team.
• CPA in progress is a must; CPA designated is highly preferred.
• High proficiency with MS Excel.
• Post‑secondary in business, finance, accounting, or related is required.

$65,000 - $80,000 per year.
