Position: Accounting Systems Lead for Financial Excellence
Elevate financial systems leadership at Interac as the Accounting Systems Lead. This role emphasizes maintaining enterprise accounting systems and enhancing financial reporting processes in a flexible hybrid environment.

As the Accounting Systems Lead, you will report to the Leader of Accounting and focus on the oversight of financial systems such as JDE and Concur. Key responsibilities include managing system upgrades, supporting audits, and developing financial reports required for compliance and internal needs.

Your role involves significant project participation that touches enterprise accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance of JDE, Reports Now, and Concur

• Manage upgrades and support IT financial audits

• Create external and internal financial reporting documents

• Assist with monthly accrual entries and financial validations

• Involve in special projects impacting financial systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP (ASPE/IFRS)

• Proven experience in financial systems leadership roles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related software

• Effective communication and project management skills
