Position: Accounting Assistant for Construction Projects
Join the team at our Markham, ON head office as an Accounting Assistant focusing on construction projects. You will play a key role in project accounting, supporting budgets, and managing financial activities.

This full-time role requires an intermediate-level accounting assistant with 2+ years in the construction or real estate fields. You will work with project teams to track expenses, prepare invoices, manage cash flow projections, and undertake monthly reconciliations. Your expertise in accounts payable and receivable will be essential in ensuring accurate job costing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily financial activities and general ledger

• Enter project-related data for accurate accounting

• Collaborate with teams to understand project costs

• Assist in preparing budgets and monthly forecasts

• Prepare financial reports and cash flow projections

Requirements:

• 2+ years of accounting experience in construction

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel

• Leadership experience is a plus

• Bilingual in Mandarin and English
