Manufacturing Plant Accountant

Position: Manufacturing Plant Accountant Role
Become a Plant Accountant overseeing financial operations at our manufacturing plants in Fergus and Weyburn. Ensure accurate costing and efficient reporting on KPIs.

This role directly supports the Senior Accounting Manager and is critical for effective accounting practices across Fergus and Weyburn plants. You will be responsible for managing KPIs, handling month-end close processes, and ensuring documentation is compliant with all regulations.

Your role includes detailed analysis of costing and inventory controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze monthly Key Performance Indicators

• Support month-end close through reconciliations and journal entries

• Conduct monthly scrap analysis and reporting

• Manage payroll entries and capital expenditures in SAP

• Run monthly CO Close Cockpit processes

Requirements:

• University or College degree in Finance/Accounting

• 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting experience

• Preferred CMA designation for candidates

• Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions

• Independent problem-solver with strong communication
