Reporting to the Manager of Operations Finance, this role demands a detail-oriented Accountant responsible for journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and monthly financial reporting. You will analyze financial data for accuracy and provide support to various business units, ensuring timely exchanges of information within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned business units

• Conduct journal entry preparation and posting

• Analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness

• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts

• Liaise with Accounts Receivable and Payroll teams for timely information

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Finance or related field

• 2-3 years’ experience in general accounting

• Chartered Professional Accounting designation preferred

• Experience in long-term care or healthcare is an asset

• On-site presence required 5 days a week
