This leadership role involves managing payroll operations across borders, coordinating with Finance and HR to guarantee timely and regulated paychecks. You will be responsible for overseeing payroll tax compliance, ACA reporting, and internal control processes. Your attention to detail and understanding of regulatory requirements will play a key role in sustaining employee trust and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate multi-state and multi-province payroll operations
• Manage payroll compliance with local, federal, and provincial laws
• Oversee payroll audits and regulatory inquiries
• Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
• Collaborate on benefit and ACA reporting initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR
• Over 5 years of leadership in payroll management
• Experience in U.S. and Canadian payroll systems
• Preferred certification in payroll (CPP/PCP/CPM)
• Ideal background in multi-location healthcare
