Markham Financial Analyst - Enercare Accounting

This Full-Time role involves collaboration with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial processes and support for the Enercare West business unit. Your responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, executing bank reconciliations, and improving data management flows. The focus is on using your skills to maintain high standards in financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely monthly journal entries for accuracy

• Proactively identify and rectify financial issues

• Assist with accounts payable as necessary

• Execute monthly bank reconciliations and monitor exceptions

• Prepare financial statements and supplementary schedules

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

• Minimum 3 years of financial analysis experience

• High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective communicator with management
