Accounting Specialist

Position: Umicore Accounting Specialist Role

You'll be responsible for the timely processing of financial transactions, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and strong analytical skills. You will directly contribute to upholding Umicore's sustainability goals by supporting efficient financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for reconciliations

• Review and analyze Accounts Receivable ledgers

• Support external audits and compliance activities

• Manage document retention and improve financial processes

• Assist in financial reporting and analysis

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Relevant experience in finance or accounting departments

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Progress toward CPA or equivalent experience is beneficial
