Take on a Senior Accountant role in a hybrid model at a prestigious CPA firm in Markham, ON. This position focuses on financial statement preparation and compliance.
The ideal candidate will be CPA designated or progressing towards it, with at least 3 years of experience in Canadian public accounting. Your capabilities in audit, tax filings, and strong grasp of ASPE will be essential in delivering exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create financial statements for audit and review processes
• Provide assistance with IFRS engagements for public companies
• Complete necessary tax filings like T1, T2, and T4
• File GST/HST/PSB returns efficiently
• Support engagement teams with organized papers
Requirements:
• CPA designation or in progress is essential
• Hold a degree in Accounting
• 3+ years public accounting experience in Canada
• Familiar with Excel and accounting software
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
