As an Accounting Technician, you will report to the Accounting Manager while managing daily cash functions. The ideal candidate has at least two years of professional accounting experience, particularly in large ERP environments. Responsibilities include precise recording of customer remittances, drafting of journal entries, and maintaining GL schedules to support financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily cash functions and assess liquidity
• Execute comprehensive bank reconciliations and handle variances
• Record remittances accurately in the ERP
• Generate counter sales invoices with due documentation
• Post monthly journal entries for period-end reviews
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of accountancy experience
• Skilled in revenue recognition and accounting standards
• Proficient in Excel with high accuracy
• Experience with SAP or Oracle preferred
• Knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP practices
