In this Senior Accountant role, you will leverage your CPA designation and 2-4 years of public accounting experience to conduct audits, manage bookkeeping and tax engagements, and prepare critical financial reports. Your expertise in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) will help you establish effective working relationships, mentor junior team members, and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audit, review, and tax engagements for clients

• Summarize financial status through balance sheets and reports

• Review and correct discrepancies in financial documents

• Develop charts of accounts and prepare entries for posting

• Coach junior staff and support business development initiatives

Requirements:

• CPA designation is mandatory

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience required

• Extensive knowledge of ASPE and GAAP

• Experience with accounting and tax software necessary

• Ability to travel for client engagements
