Our client, a mid size accounting firm located in Markham, is looking for a Manager, Assurance tojoin their team. If you are passionate about accounting, assurance, corporate and personal tax prep, then please read further. The successful candidate will have to be in office 3 days a week outside of tax season. Within tax season, the successful candidate will be required to be in office 4 days a week.
Thekey accountabilities and responsibilities include the following;
- Planning and executing client audits including scheduling, planning andfileprep
- Working closely with clients and preparation ofaudit findingsletters and related correspondence
- Reviewing personal income tax returns of a more complex matter
- Preparing financial statements and working paper files in accordance with firm standards effectively and efficiently
- CPA designation with five years experience in a public accounting firm
- Advanced skills in Caseware/Caseview, Excel, Word and Tax Prep
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
