Financial Controller at LEA Consulting

LEA Consulting seeks a Financial Controller to handle financial and project accounting in a hybrid work setting. This role emphasizes budgeting, reporting, and staff mentorship alongside financial compliance.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this senior position requires considerable expertise in financial and project accounting. Key responsibilities include overseeing a team, managing invoicing, and ensuring accurate financial operations. The Controller will collaborate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly and year-end financial reports

• Supervise invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable

• Provide guidance to Project Managers on financial practices

• Monitor project costs and support cash management

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

• CPA designation or equivalent required

• Familiarity with Deltek VantagePoint is essential

• Experience in an engineering consulting firm

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
