Hands-On Accounting Manager North York

Lead hands-on accounting in North York with Quick Books Online expertise and full-cycle ownership. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting and report directly to leadership. Use QBO, Canadian tax knowledge, payroll experience, and financial reporting skills. Support the accounting team while maintaining accurate, timely financial information for business decisions.

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare financial statements and stakeholder reports
• Coordinate payroll and government remittances
• Improve processes, controls, and accounting accuracy

• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• Certified QBO Specialist, Intuit Pro Advisor Level 2 or higher
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience
• Knowledge of Canadian accounting, payroll, HST, and regulations
• Strong Excel, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
