Accountant Assurance and Accounting

Apply accounting and financial reporting skills as an Accountant with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team. Support clients through tailored financial information.

This Accountant position serves diverse client needs within MNP’s evolving business and financial reporting practice. You will develop skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax. The work includes applying IFRS, GAAP, and/or ASPE knowledge while collaborating with engagement teams and client contacts.

• Develop technical skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and relevant reports
• Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports
• Assess audit evidence for revenues, expenses, assets, and payables
• Collaborate with engagement teams and build client relationships

• Commerce or business administration degree completed or in progress
• Accounting or finance major preferred
• CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites completed or in progress
• Accounting office, client service, or tax software experience considered an asset
