Medical Receptionist - Optometry Clinic

Job Summary

Optometry clinic looking for a Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations of the front desk. This role requires familiarity and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. The Medical Receptionist must be efficient, friendly, and have good time-management skills.

• Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
• Schedule appointments
• Verify patient insurance information and process payments accurately
• Answer the phone promptly and professionally
• Manage patient records, update information, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with PHIPA regulations
• Assist with administrative tasks including data entry and email correspondence
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

• Prior experience as a Receptionist or healthcare experience preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work efficiently in a quick‑paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Available on weekends

$18.50-$22.00 per hour
