The Unit Secretary is a valuable member of the Plastics Clinic and Minor Surgery Clinic team. The successful candidate will perform receptionist duties, providing support across the Plastics Clinic, Minor Surgery Clinic, and, as needed, the Fracture Clinic.

• Greet and register patients.
• Enter X‑ray orders.
• Answer phone calls and return voicemail.
• Schedule clinic appointments.

• Previous Unit Secretary experience.
• Experience in an outpatient or clinic setting (preferred).
• Surgical Outpatient Hospital Clinic experience required.
• Medical Administration Certificate or equivalent required.
• Medical Terminology required.
• 2–5 years of Unit Secretary experience within the past five years.
• Registration and patient booking experience required.
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced environment required.
• A strong customer service focus is required.
• Computer and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, prioritizing, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with Meditech and Community Wide Scheduling is an asset.
• Demonstrated good attendance and performance records.
• Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others by following policies, health and safety legislation, and completing mandatory education.

07:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 08:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 07:30 AM - 12:30 PM (schedules may change due to operational needs).

CUP C03 Range: $28.13 – $31.65 per hour.
