Support clinic operations as a Unit Secretary at Oak Valley Health’s Markham Stouffville Hospital, focusing on administrative tasks and patient interaction. Be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services.

The successful candidate will join the Plastics Clinic, Minor Surgery Clinic, and Fracture Clinic teams, ensuring smooth clinic operations. Applicants should possess a Medical Administration Certificate and background in outpatient environments. Key duties involve welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and register patients upon arrival

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments

• Process x-ray orders and communicate effectively

• Assist in maintaining efficient clinic operations

• Uphold a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in a related role

• Completion of a Medical Administration Certificate

• Strong service orientation and communication skills

• Familiarity with scheduling software like Meditech

• Ability to work in a high-paced setting
