Coordinate Visiting Specialist clinics with strong organization, communication, and administrative expertise in a full-time interim daytime position. Support patients, providers, and care teams.
The Assistant Visiting Specialist Clinic Coordinator manages planning and daily operations for the Visiting Specialist program. This AVSC position supports Ambulatory Services through scheduling, referrals, information systems, and patient coordination. The coordinator also assists with supplies, reporting, staff mentoring, and department protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and organize Visiting Specialist program activities
- Schedule specialist visits and coordinate care teams
- Receive, prioritize, and forward patient referrals and reports
- Support clinic visits, supplies, and daily functions
- Train and mentor staff while developing protocols
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary management or office administration courses
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Medi-Tech EMR, and NOVARI
- Clinical administrative and customer service experience
- WHMIS, CPI, and Ontario accessibility knowledge
Bring clinical administration, information management, and communication skills to coordinate Visiting Specialist services for patients and providers.
