Bed Allocator Patient Registration Clerk

Coordinate hospital bed allocation and patient registration with Oak Valley Health using Meditech, Excel, Word, Outlook, and strong prioritization skills.
The Bed Allocator/Patient Registration Clerk supports Oak Valley Health’s Patient Access team in Markham and Uxbridge. This part-time role manages inpatient and emergency patient placement, transfers, and discharges confidentially. It also maintains the corporate bed board and supports Daily Bed Census and Preferred Accommodation follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Place, transfer, and discharge inpatients and emergency patients
Maintain the organization’s corporate bed board
Provide a central resource for internal and external customers
Monitor Daily Bed Census follow-up and completion
Monitor Preferred Accommodation follow-up and completion
Requirements:
One year of hospital bed allocation and bed board experience
Two years of hospital registration or admitting experience
One year completed in Medical Office Administration
Keyboarding speed of at least 45 words per minute

Experience with Meditech, Excel, Word, and Outlook email
Bring confidential patient access, bed board management, and critical thinking expertise to Oak Valley Health’s hospital operations.
